Google Ads Generating more than just Clicks

"Online advertising has long been plagued with connections to spyware, and now the seedy spyware underground has moved from pop-up networks to Google's search ad network. Discovered by security software firm Exploit Prevention Labs earlier this month, AdWords ads were used in attempts to install spyware on users' computers. Though Google said it has removed the offending ads and may have terminated the AdWords accounts set up by the culprits, the question remains whether such a response is enough to dissuade future exploitation."

Blogs Now Infested With Offensive Content

Choose well what you read... Mankind can only destroy, obviously.

"The Internet's blog sites have become overgrown with a variety of unpleasant content, including porn, offensive language, hate posting, and malware, a new threat analysis has suggested.

According to Scansafe's Monthly Global Threat Report for March 2007, a surprisingly high percentage of the Internet's blog sites-- up to 80 percent-- contain "offensive" content, with six percent hosting active malware.

To be added to the list of those deemed potentially offensive within a business context, a site merely had to contain a single post containing profanity, or worse."

link building. Since I'm always on the look-out for resources that
attract and target specific demographics, I've hit the linking jackpot
on more than one occasion by developing promotions that take advantage

The Perfect Pop-up

"If you believe the likes of Jakob Neilsen and his supporters, nothing is more evil than pop-up windows. And in many ways, this is correct. Why? Well, we'll list the reasons soon enough, but in a nutshell it's because they are nearly always poorly implemented or simply not needed. This tutorial will show that, with the right thought, pop-up windows can be used without upsetting anyone - particularly the person browsing your site."
