Google Desktop Now Available For Linux

Google Desktop is now available for those running Linux as their operating system. Grab a copy of Google Desktop for Linux for download here.

Hmmm...I'd like to be giving it a whirl on Mandriva 2007, and hope it functions better than Picasa on Linux has.

Google Desktop for Linux was developed by Google's Beijing engineering team and runs on Debian 4.0, Fedora Core 6, Ubuntu 6.10, SUSE 10.1, and Red Flag 5. The available languages include English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese.

Problems with Ranquest Toolbar

I just found and tagged this Ranquest Toolbar, but installing it screwed up the google toolbar as well as the firefox buttons, and so I removed it again.
